Development & Alumni Relations
Annual Fund
Each fall, the Eliot Montessori School launches its Annual Fund Drive, which supports our operating budget and allows us to provide our students with an outstanding education that
Inspires Lifelong Learners. We receive generous support from our grandparents, alumni parents, alumni, foundations, and friends, but current families are the backbone of our Annual Fund and fundraising efforts. With help from all of our current families, we can reach our goal of 100% participation by parents in annual giving.
Participation is viewed as an indication of commitment to Eliot. Each gift to the Annual Fund supports the people and programs that make Eliot so special – like talented teachers, small classes, individualized learning, and an innovative and nurturing educational environment. This translates to more personal attention, increased intellectual stimulation, and a strong foundation for our students’ future education. Remember - gifts of any size are valued and count toward our participation total.
Gifts to the Annual Fund range from $25 to more than $25,000. Leadership gifts of $1,000 and above play a significant role in keeping Eliot’s Annual Fund strong. Our donors are recognized through membership in one of our giving circles:
 |
Bell Tower Circle $25,000 & up |
 |
Flagpole Circle $5,000 - $24,999 |
 |
Portico Circle $2,500 - $4,999 |
 |
Secret Garden Circle $1,000 - $2,499 |
 |
Blue & White Circle up to $999 |
We gratefully acknowledge your support and appreciate your participation in the life and health of our school. All gifts to our school are tax-deductible. We accept cash, MasterCard and Visa, and securities. We also welcome matching gifts from employers.

Scholarship Fund
The Kluchman family established the Kluchman Scholarship Fund in honor of Betsy Kluchman, the Administrative Head of Eliot for many years. The Fund provides assistance to those families who might otherwise not be able to attend the Eliot Montessori School. The intention of the Fund is to provide opportunities to children of various economic backgrounds to be part of our unique community and enjoy the challenging, yet nurturing, educational environment we provide.
